After engaging Plunkett Raysich Architects to complete a conceptual site and design report, The City of Cedarburg hired the firm for the design and construction of Cedar Point North Park and its new police station. The police station features a multipurpose training/community/municipal courtroom, general administrative office, communications room and dispatch center. The station also includes a workout room, a locker room, an evidence processing room with adjacent property/evidence storage, a booking area with five interview rooms, a 5,362 sq. ft. vehicle storage garage with drive-thru sally port, vehicle impound, bike storage and an equipment/storage mezzanine. The 4.5-acre park features a youth T-ball field, shared parking with the police station and a one-third mile asphalt walking path.
