Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare replaced a clinic in Southeastern Wisconsin with this new 27,000 sq. ft. primary care clinic that is expandable to two stories in the future. Designed to accommodate over 16,000 patients, the light-filled center is staffed with eight primary care physicians and three rotating specialists. The $11 million clinic features physical therapy, lab and radiology (X-Ray, ultrasound and mammography) services. The building incorporates a continuous insulation system, a tight building envelope to reduce air leakage, horizontal and vertical sunshading with non-glare natural daylighting strategies, utilization of an energy recovery system, and high efficiency boilers and water heaters.
