J.H. Findorff and Son

Location:
Milwaukee, WI
Size:
23,400 sq. ft.
Completion Date:
January 2006
Client:
J.H. Findorff and Son, Inc.

LEED CertifiedLocated in a previously vacant and windlowless 23,400 sq. ft. warehouse, the office of J.H. Findorff and Son is designed to showcase the clients commitment to the environment and their employees.  The once blank exterior walls now feature large expanses of glass, maximizing views to the City below while allowing diffused daylight to permeate the space.  Even the former loading dock canopy and doors have been reborn as a sunscreen and windows.  The extensive use of daylighting and sustainable materials and sensitive reuse of a derelict building, earned this project the US Green Building Council’s LEED Certification.

"PRA was an easy group to work with.  They took our concerns seriously, and when presented with a challenge, they always found a creative solution.  I enjoyed working with them."
