| Since 1894, West Bend Mutual Insurance has created some of the most coveted jobs in Wisconsin due to their employee and community focus. By 2006 they had outgrown their 15 year old building, challenging Plunkett Raysich Architects to design a 195,000 sq. ft. addition that would maintain their “family” atmosphere, minimize the impact on their bucolic campus, and blend seamlessly with the existing building. The resulting addition features a 42-foot high Atrium that acts as a “family room” for the expanded facility and the hub to which a future addition will attach. The Atrium and adjacent Conference Center are designed as highly flexible spaces, able to accommodate training, meetings and food service for employees and community alike. |
