| Based on a Facility Needs Study completed by PRA, Badger Meter’s Board of Directors approved an $8 million renovation and expansion of the company’s world headquarters and plant in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. The 64,000 sq. ft. addition includes 20,000 sq. ft. of new manufacturing space, a new 12,000 sq. ft. state of the art hydro-lab for testing prototype water meters, 12,000 sq. ft. of new electrical labs research and development labs, model shop, life testing lab and pilot plant, and 20,000 sq. ft. of second floor engineering offices. The 25,000 sq. ft. renovation in the existing headquarters building features a dividable conference center for up to 120 persons, an 800 sq. ft. training center, office space and new cafeteria. |
