| Cousins Submarines, Inc. wanted to create a new image for their nationwide chain. The goals of the new prototype, located on Miller Park Way, included the necessity to be durable, extremely economical and incorporate Cousins’ trademark red and yellow colors in a conservative yet contemporary way. To achieve these goals soft green, vibrant blue and black accent colors were added to the trademark red and yellow to create an interesting and recognizable color palette. The utilitarian feel of the existing linear restaurants was replaced with a warmer, vibrant design more consistent with the competition. Custom casework along the path promoted the newer trend of “grab-n-go” and impulse buying. |
