Diversified Insurance

Coming from a space they had long overgrown, Diversified Insurance was looking forward to expanding into an 18,000 sq. ft. space.  The new space was designed to retain their traditional brand while adding a contemporary flare to attract new recruits.  One of the client's requests for the new space was that natural light be available to all employees.  Due to the number of offices needed for sales staff, private offices were located on the perimter with workstations in the center.  In order to maximize the amount of natrual light reaching the interior workstations, private offices were designed with full-height etched glass fronts with a middle pane of frosted glass for privacy reasons.  The most original aspect of this space came in the form of a request by the owner...an Irish pub.  From the mottled wallcovering meant to resemble an aging, flaking paint finish to the plaid pattern of the carpet to the dark, traditional carvings on the bar, this private office is truly more pub than office.
