The new Oconomowoc Fire Station No. 2 at Pabst Farms combines the operations of Oconomowoc and Summit.  The 14,000 sq. ft. station is designed to aesthetically blend with the other buildings in Pabst Farms and offers housing for full-time EMS and support for eight apparatus.  Training is an important function of the Department and the new station includes a training room for 60 as well as training stations for confined space entry and rappel practice.  Sustainable features include solar water heating, daylighting, rainwater harvesting, LED lighting, and charging stations for electric vehicles. The Department is also providing bicycle racks, plug-in charging station for electric vehicles and dedicated parking for low-emitting vehicles.
