William S. Middleton VA Hospital Short Stay Unit

The Short Stay Unit project at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital includes the addition of approximately 16,000 sq. ft. and renovation of approximately 11,000 sq. ft. on the first floor B-Wing in Building 1.  The Short Stay Unit will provide accommodations for bariatric and hospice care residents.  Resident rooms will surround a core space which will include physical and occupational therapy, family services, administrative offices and storage with nurse functions located at each end.  The living, dining, lounge and activity functions will be located directly off an internal courtyard.
