Frontier Airlines (formerly Midwest Airlines) desired increased passenger hold room occupancies, increased amenities and an updated image for their Milwaukee hub.  Plunkett Raysich Architects designed the 79,060 sq. ft. addition and renovation for Concourse D at General Mitchell International Airport.  The addition includes two new atrium lounges serving passenger hold rooms for newly implemented commuter jet ground boarding.  Contemporary amenities include wireless internet access, concessions and updated restroom facilities.  The aggregate panel exterior wall system also unifies previous additions with the airport terminal.
