Construction Administration

Construction administration can have a significant impact on building schedules, budgets and design integrity.  That's why construction administration is centralized at our firm, and staffed by professionals who bring both design training and construction administration certification to their role.

We provide Construction Administration services for all of our design projects and to other architects on large or sophisticated projects.

• Office Construction Administration: Review and process shop drawings, field communications,samples and product data.
• Construction Field Observation: Visit the site to observe progress and quality of work.
• Quotation Requests / Change Orders: Prepare documents to describe work to be added, deleted or modified. Review quantity proposals, cost of labor and materials, and modifications to construction contract.
• Project Schedule Monitoring: Monitor the progress of all contractors.
• Construction Cost Accounting: Evaluate payment applications for approval by the owner. Maintain contract sum and all changes.
• Project Closeout: When work is substantially complete a final inspection with the owner’s representative will verify completion of work and identify all deficiencies. Provide all contractors’ warranties, affidavits, waivers of liens, or bonds. Review and certification of final payment request.
