MADISON, WI – Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP, one of Wisconsin’s leading architecture and interior design firms, announced the opening of Meriter Hospital’s new Center for Perinatal Care in Madison, Wis.
Meriter Hospital retained PRA to assist in creating a center of excellence for women’s health that focuses on providing holistic individualized care through each stage of life. The Center for Perinatal Care provides specialized care for high-risk pregnancies and coordinates comprehensive services in one location, supporting a women-centered model of care.
The project also involved a small corridor addition bridging the 15,000 sq. ft. Center within the hospital, which increases operational efficiency. The addition allows natural daylight to flood the Center’s waiting and reception areas, and a centralized provider hub fosters a sense of collaboration among team members.
