Community Involvement
Volunteer work is another way we are making a lasting contribution to the community and improving the lives of those around us. Plunkett Raysich Architects believes that supporting programs to create a better community is essential. Our partners and employees currently give their time to more than 100 local organizations. We generously donate regularly to organizations which represent causes that affect staff or their family members. For example, many employees volunteer to raise monies for the Leukemia Society of Wisconsin and participate in the annual “Light the Night” walk. Our participation is not only in our local community, but has become international with mission trips to Bluefields, Nicaragua and Tijuana, Mexico. Recently, Plunkett Raysich Architects was acknowledged for our superior community service initiative through the MANDI (Milwaukee Awards for Neighborhood Development Innovation) awards. A client of ours, Silver City, nominated PRA for our strong commitment and leadership in transforming our community.
Plunkett Raysich Architects annually supports the United Way and UPAF. Each year a core team of staff members volunteer their time to develop a campaign. PRA also assists their clients with their fundraising campaigns. Riveredge Nature Center and the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County are two examples of staff volunteerism to raise funds.
