Facility Tour

Plunkett Raysich Architects' strong belief in the value of facility branding led to the alignment of space and brand in our own corporate headquarters. Designed to foster teamwork, communication and productivity, the Milwaukee office building reflects our core belief that successful projects begin with creative design.

Courtyard
Protected from the elements by overhangs and a low curved wall, this space is a quiet, three-season for an informal meeting. The courtyard welcomes visitors to the Plunkett Raysich building and provides beautiful views for those inside.

Exterior
With tall glass facades, a large, floating roof, and courtyard defined by a curved concrete wall, the building integrates and unifies its surroundings. The single story design helps increase efficiency within the firm. The building has become a prominent Milwaukee landmark during both day and night.

Although the building appears to be curved, it actually contains only two curved elements: the light gauge metal fascia and the concrete wall. The firm's commitment to environmentally sustainable design ensured that renewable, recycled, and/or environmentally friendly products and materials were utilized wherever possible.

Reception
Inside, the curved forms of the furniture and floor patterns reinforce the building's curvilinear geometries, while the firm's long history of honored projects is prominently displayed along two walls of custom aluminum and glass plaques.

Design area
The Design area is a comfortable, flexible space for creative minds to meet. Its central location in the building provides easy access to and from the surrounding project teams and staff while symbolizing the firm's belief that design is central to everything it does.

Board room
The board room marries form and function. Understated, tackible wall surfaces at each end of the conference table help facilitate presentations; lighting over the table can be dimmed separately from lights that highlight the wall surfaces. Natural light can be shaded as needed.

Hallway East
With offices and conference rooms placed away from exterior walls, natural light floods the building along its corridors. Multiple shading options allow the firm's associates to choose their preferred level of light in their workspaces.

Interior Design Library
Plunkett Raysich's approach to architectural and interior design is reflected the Interior Design Library. This dedicated space helps keep interior design resources well-organized and accessible to all members of the unified project teams.

Design Studio Island
Each design studio is focused around a desig studio island collaboration team members provide an environment well-suited to architectural design work.
