Senior Project Manager - Milwaukee

PRA is currently working with over 30 school districts across the State of Wisconsin and is looking for a senior project manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have ten plus years of K-12 school district management experience and be able to perform the following project related tasks:

  • Marketing and presentations to obtain new clients
  • Referendum planning and support
  • Educational programming and planning
  • Existing facilities analysis
  • Presentations to school administration and boards
  • Management of the project team from start to finish of projects
  • Overall client satisfaction

This position could have direct path to Partnership of the firm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities in no specific order: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Conduct employee reviews of assigned personnel
  • Client contact, including presentations
  • Responsible for the overall quality of project design to maintain firm design standards
  • Responsible for overall maintenance of project schedules, budget, content and quality control of drawings and specifications and for the project through the construction phase.
  • Coordinate all internal personnel including designers, interiors, specification staff
  • Coordinate all outside consultants
  • Coordinate all internal personnel at remote office locations.
  • Responsible for business development including marketing of new clients, presentations, and trade shows
  • May act as mentor to project managers and new team members.
  • Review of financial reports from business administration department
  • Plays active role in managing client relationship to ensure timely payment of all invoices.
  • Responsible for daily management of assigned personnel
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Architecture required
  • Master's degree of Architecture preferred
  • Licensed Architect in Wisconsin
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a registered Architect
Computer Skills
  • Ability to access, review, and draw using Revit
  • Full Revit proficiency preferred
  • PC skills with Microsoft Office Suite and industry accepted software
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Licensed Architect in Wisconsin

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and production teams
  • Experience working with AIA forms and contracts
  • Knowledge of codes and application proficiency
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
