Aspirus Wausau Hospital

In 2012, PRA updated Aspirus Wausau Hospital’s master plan, which emphasized improvements to existing infrastructure, admitting, inpatient/ICU/OB, outpatient surgery, and critical care services (ER). PRA also completed a master plan at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI. As part of the master planning effort, PRA analyzed whether to build a new hospital or renovate the existing Keweenaw Hospital. In 2012 (10 years after the initial master plan was completed), PRA was asked to update the plan and options, which led to Aspirus selecting PRA to design an additional/renovation to the hospital and a new clinic.

PRA is also working on the 2,000 sq. ft. Aspirus Wausau Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy addition, as well as renovating the existing space adjacent to the emergency room into a CT scanner room within the hospital.
