OUR PEOPLE

Nicholas Peterman

Nick enjoyed being able to creatively solve problems while helping people was something that I personally valued when searching for a career, and no other job pushed those two values more than architecture. He had personally known about PRA for the past five years after finding out that they had developed his high school back in 2016 (Ripon High School). This caused him to become more curious about what PRA did and what their values were in terms of architectural practice, wanting to see what the overall culture looked like. By the time he graduated (while keeping in contact with long running employees), he found that PRA’s culture towered above a lot of other firms he had seen, being more welcoming/supportive towards younger employees just starting out. Overall, he was drawn to PRA because of the opportunities they were willing to offer when I started, while wanting to try and push me to find ways to expand my career in a variety of diverse ways.

Fun Fact:
Nick values having multiple skill sets and joined the Army back in 2021 as a combat medic. This gave him the opportunity to become licensed under the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, which means that he can fully practice as an EMT (Also gives me automatic CPR certification).

Education:
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) – University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
