With a history dating back to 1935 and roots reaching to 1890, Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP is a national innovative architecture and interior design firm. We are professionals skilled in providing a variety of services from strategic planning, architectural design, interior design, and construction administration. Our goal is to transform learning environments, bring order to complex healthcare facilities, re-envision ways of working, create places for people to call home, and provide safe and inclusive worship spaces for our clients. Our portfolio spans across the nation with four offices located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin, Sarasota, Florida, and Buda, Texas.

We strive to capture the essence of their organization and their vision. We work to remove complexity, simplify the issues, and transform their needs into a solution that is beautiful, functional, and within reach as it becomes an extension of who they are.
At PRA, we believe there is a great responsibility in being an architect. The projects we help design shape skylines of cities and provide spaces for communities to gather. We have the duty to create safe and functional buildings, but also believe we have responsibility to provide spaces that improve the lives of people and better the communities around us. After all, the final result isn’t the building, but the ideas behind it.

Construction remains one part science and one part art. During construction we act as the eyes and ears of the client, translating our design intent from the drawings for the contractor and scrutinizing the work put in place.

Our Interior Design Studio is fully integrated into our Architectural Design Process. Our interior designers join early design meetings to assure the design intent and client philosophies are incorporated throughout the project.

PRA Austin Design Office
PRA Austin Architecture: From Wisconsin to Buda, Texas
Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, arrived in the Austin area in 2021 to contribute to the mix of Austin Architects helping clients resolve building needs in new and innovative ways. The official PRA Austin Design office is co-located in the offices of Practice Design Group (PDG) in Buda, Texas.
PRA Sarasota Design Office
Where the sun shines year round, our Sarasota Design Office always has bright ideas. Established in 2012, this multi-faceted office has hands in a myriad of project types. Wearing many hats, the Florida team pushes the boundaries of creativity, innovation, and what it means to work with clients. They are relentless in their efforts to fulfill their client’s visions and improve their community. As natural philanthropists, they are dedicated to making a positive difference either through the built environment or donating their time.
PRA Madison Design Office
Nestled between two lakes, our Madison office is located in one of the two biggest U.S cities built on an isthmus. Just like the water of Lake Mendota and Monona, the Madison office is ever ebbing and flowing, adjusting to client needs.
The City of Madison is known for a variety of things from the state’s largest higher education provider, the University of Wisconsin – Madison, to the abundance of high-tech companies, to hosting the world’s largest brat fest every year.

Here in Wisconsin’s largest city, and on the western shores of Lake Michigan resides the PRA Headquarters. Home of Cream City Bricks, “The Calatrava,” and Frank Lloyd Wright treasures, we embrace the history and growing spirit of our urban city.
Our Milwaukee roots date back to 1890 when the City of Milwaukee was coined the city that “Feeds and Supplies the World” and the “Beer Capitol of the World” as it was the center of agriculture,

We partner with engineers, specialty consultants, construction managers, and contractors to ensure our clients are fully served, regardless of the location or special conditions. Partnerships may last beyond the needs of a single client or project. Those relationships are the result of complimentary services that benefit the client and are borne by the mutual respect and support forged from the work done on many projects. These relationships exist to provide continual support to past clients and to ensure unique services to enhance the projects of future clients throughout the nation.
Practice Design Group (PDG) was formed in 2002 by Jeff Carter and Pat Carter to provide design services to dentists seeking a professional and collaborative alternative to the services offered by traditional providers. PDG and PRA first started working together in 2012, and the relationship blossomed over many projects. Practice Design Group and Plunkett Raysich Architects are now strategic partners providing full-service design solutions to dental specialists throughout the nation.
Align Architecture & Planning, PLC (Align) has been serving Iowa and surrounding areas for over 70 years. Align offers architecture, landscape architecture and master planning services in a variety of markets, and is committed to cultivating strong, professional relationships by providing client-centric and value-conscious design. Align and PRA became strategic partners in 2009 and have since been providing complimentary services to clients in Iowa.
