Pre-Project Planning, commonly called “Pre-Design,” is the traditional architectural phase during which the project size and cost are set. Our immersive design techniques are important contributors to that process, allowing us to dial in a master plan or design based on institutional needs and goals. But we prefer to start even earlier, to partner with clients to determine if they should even be considering a project at all. During Pre-Project Planning we can evaluate operational issues, funding possibilities, any available land, existing facilities, and any business or growth plans to identify if a capital expense may help or hurt an organization. These feasibility studies ensure that cash flow is put to the best needs of the organization. We have worked with clients through difficult planning constraints that were determined to be not in the clients’ best interest to proceed with further design & construction. We take pride in being the outside consultant that thinks like their inside C-Suite.
