Luis Ylizaiturri
EducationLuis’s first experience with architecture was through designing houses in The Sims video game and from growing up in Monterrey, Mexico and being exposed to the city’s unique architecture. What sparked Luis’s curiosity was the significance and thoughtfulness building designs can have on the people that use them and hopes his designs can make people feel inspired through the stories they tell.
What excited Luis to join the Madison Design Office in the School Design studio was being able to join a firm that maintains a variety of studios and project types that he can gain experience from. Luis also found the support system at PRA would help him achieve his goals as he moves forward in his architecture career. The culture also makes work more enjoyable and there is “never a dull moment” with his collogues.
Fun Facts: Luis was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and enjoys exploring new places near or far to Madison with his family, friends, and girlfriend.
