Mara Charpentier

Growing up, Mara was eager to find new ways to improve spaces in her family’s home. In college she initially pursued civil engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering. Throughout the program her curiosity grew in design and planning spaces. Realizing that architecture could provide an avenue for expressing herself through design, she pursued the practice.

Today, Mara joins the Milwaukee Design Office in the School Design studio. She appreciates the collaborative environment that PRA embraces, and the focus and accommodation it provides for her personal and professional growth.

Fun Facts: Mara can play the ukelele and has traveled to Norway to participate in a cold plunge!
