OUR PEOPLE

Paige Steed

AIA | Education

Architecture has always been a part of Paige’s life; She comes from a family of successful and passionate architects, who instilled a love for the built environment and strong work ethic in her. While in college, an opportunity arised, taking her family to Singapore.  When Paige traveled to visit and complete an internship abroad, her love for architecture and its interaction with its users was solidified.

After Paige graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2015, she joined PRA Milwaukee’s office. She was attracted to PRA for the size of the firm and variety of project types. Now as an Associate and Architect in the Education Studio, she holds a multitude of responsibilities including documenting existing building conditions, leading design meetings, collaborating with clients, and ensuring quality in our documents. When she is on-site, she loves discovering the “nooks and crannies” of buildings, while piecing together potential solutions for the client. Acting as a main point of contact, Paige is with the client through every part of the project process. From learning client needs in the beginning to the post occupancy evaluation-Paige is there.

When a project is complete, Paige still stays in contact with her clients. She travels back to the schools she’s helped design to speak to students about architecture. When she visits her completed projects and sees them in use, it brings Paige a great sense of fulfillment from her love for working with kids, to making a difference in their young educational careers.

When Paige is not in the field, she loves to explore the outdoors-near and far to Milwaukee and being creative with her sewing machine.
