Scott Justus
AIA | EducationIn 2018, Scott joined the PRA family because he was seeking a change that would challenge him to better his skills and enable him to continue to develop close relationships with clients. Currently, he is an Associate and Project Manager in the Education Studio. He has a wide array of duties such as fiscally managing a project to stay within budget, ensuring the project stays on track, and business development.
One thing that has stayed consistent across every project is Scott’s ability to lead. His capability to listen, understand and ascertain client goals enables himself and his team to execute projects and exceed client’s expectations. Over the years, Scott has collected a wealth of knowledge he brings to every project. He has worked in a variety of studios including Hospitality, Healthcare, and Science and Technology, and because of this, he always feels confident and prepared to help any type of client.
As an architect, Scott is exposed to many different professions. He thoroughly enjoys the ability to attain insight into a doctor’s, teacher’s, caretaker’s, or CEO’s work life because it helps facilitate a design that will better serve them. He believes that a good architect will take the time to learn the ins and outs of the client’s business, so he takes extra measures to understand the mission, value, vision, and operations of a company. When working on a project, he finds it exciting to play a part in making someone’s vision a reality. Most clients have an idea of what they are looking for. Scott seeks to help them synthesize their thoughts by working with them one on one until a physical building is developed.
