OUR PEOPLE

Brian N. Scheibel

AIA CDT NCARB | Education

“Being an architect is intense and more involved than I could ever imagine, but it has quickly become one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.”

Brian dabbled in architecture before he truly knew what it entailed. Growing up with a father who was a contractor, he was always fascinated by the mechanics and creativity of how things went together. He was encouraged to pursue architecture and began working for a firm during college summers. He joined PRA in 2000 and is now a Senior Project Architect and Associate. His duties entail “doing a little bit of everything” including writing specifications, client coordination, site visits, and construction administration.

He gets inspired in the early stages of the project process when the entire project team collaborates from engineers to clients. He enjoys bouncing ideas off others to decipher the vision of his clients and put realistic concepts to thoughts. After brainstorming, he enjoys working out all the little details that make a building functional.  Brian finds it rewarding when he can capture a client’s vision and help them understand the process of making it a reality. One of his principles is that he wants to help people learn and will help anyone that comes to him, whether it is a co-worker or client.
