PRA Named 2023 Top Workplace By the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Names PRA A 2023 Top Workplace in Southeast Wisconsin

We are excited to announce that PRA has been recognized as a 2023 Top Workplace by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel! Since our founding over 88 years ago, we have strived to grow a positive work environment that truly values employees. Being recognized for this award is a reaffirmation that our employees are noticed, as it is based on their anonymous feedback and uniquely measures 15 cultural drivers that are critical to an organization’s success.

At PRA, we promote a culture of inclusivity that recognizes and respects every individual’s contributions. We continually seek to create a sense of belonging and collaboration amongst team members. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and we understand that great ideas emerge when minds come together and encourage open communication, allowing us to work seamlessly across teams and offices. This fuels our creativity and commitment, enabling us to deliver innovative architectural solutions.

“I feel as if I have the freedom to express my thoughts and ideas whether it is for projects, pursuits, or internal initiatives. My ideas feel valued and heard, and that is reflected in my ability to pursue things that interest me.”

– Hannah Zhang, Project Architect

We create opportunities for growth through ongoing training programs, leadership committees, and mentorship opportunities that empower all employees to expand their skills and knowledge. We also encourage our teams to find opportunities in or outside of PRA to continue to grow their careers, feed their curiosity, and work to bring new ideas to their projects and their mentors to improve outcomes for their clients. We hope this commitment helps maintain motivated and engaged professionals excited to come to work every day.

“I feel an immense amount of support from my direct manager and my coworkers. They give me space to grow as a young designer but are always available to provide guidance when I need it. PRA has broadened my realm of project types and my knowledge base has dramatically increased because of it.”

– Megan Ziesemer, Interior Designer

Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is a top priority for PRA. We offer a unique “work effort bonus” that pays for overtime work when projects need special attention. We also understand that personal well-being directly impacts our professional success. We offer flexible working arrangements, comprehensive benefits packages, and programs to support overall well-being. It’s important to us all that we have the resources and support needed to thrive both inside and outside of work.

“It is an honor to be recognized as a Top Workplace by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Our employees drive our business forward, and we always strive to provide a workplace where they feel inspired, welcomed, appreciated, and empowered,” states PRA’s managing partner, Scott Kramer. “This award is a testament to all their hard work and honesty in sharing their ideas to make us ever better.”

We have been recognized as a Top Workplace twice previously and are honored to achieve it for the third time. The anonymous feedback received from the survey will help us continue to push the boundaries to improve our organization and project outcomes for our clients. Interested in joining PRA?
