Associate Promotions 2023 Ken Turba, Emily Grahn, Paige Steed, Ryan Schmitz, Nicole Dryden, Jedd Heap

PRA Announces Newly Promoted Associates and Senior Associates

We are expanding our leadership group with the promotion of four new Associates! Congratulations to Ken Turba, Emily Grahn, Paige Steed, and Ryan Schmitz on their recent promotion to Associate.

“Associates take on additional firm-wide responsibilities of driving initiatives, mentoring younger staff, and fostering our internal culture,” states Managing Partner Scott Kramer. “These individuals have exceeded those expectations, and we are excited to see them embrace their new role and continue to establish PRA as an industry leader.”

Ken Turba joined PRA in 2016 in our Madison Design Office. Since 2016, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to adapt and listen attentively to client needs. His commitment has been instrumental in client success, including on notable projects such as  Sauk Prairie School District and Madison College’s Goodman South Campus.

Emily Grahn joined PRA’s Milwaukee Design Office in the Education Studio in 2017. Over the last few years, she has proven herself as a natural leader. Internally, Emily has organized and led our ARE study groups for aspiring architects and maintains our exterior material library. Externally, she remains dedicated to meeting her client’s needs and vision. As a School Designer, she takes great care to create learning environments that inspire students and empower educators.

Paige Steed joined PRA in 2015 in the Milwaukee Design Office and works in the Education Studio. When working with clients, she goes above and beyond. Paige dedicates her energy to ensure that she fulfills their vision to meet the needs of the district’s students, administration, community, and educators. Her passion for school design goes beyond making a building functional. She is driven to design learning environments that foster student collaboration and achievement.

Ryan Schmitz joined PRA’s Milwaukee Design Office in 2019 in our Corporate Design Studio. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in driving innovative design solutions for a wide range of clients, particularly those within the financial service industry.  He focuses on creating solutions to overcome his client’s challenges and designing workspaces that enhance employee engagement while aligning with their brand and culture.

Additionally, Nicole Dryden and Jedd Heap were promoted to Senior Associate. This promotion acknowledges their profound understanding of client needs, commitment to design excellence, and dedication to achieving client visions.
